User-Contributed CCL Routines

Many users take advantage of OSLO's flexibility to write their own routines. While some of them are modified by our staff and integrated into the OSLO program, such as Global Explorer or the new set of zoom tools, many of them are designed for highly specialized applications and are not suitable for such inclusion. Our goal here is to provide a forum where users can share this type of routine and download other specialized routines. Since this page is only starting, you can only submit your work for now. We plan to publish an initial collection of routines during the fall of 2000.

To submit your work, please send an email to oslo@sinopt.com, including:

  1. Your email address, name and company for Sinclair Optics to contact you if necessary.
  2. Your CCL or CCL-Plus routine(s) as an attachment.
  3. A description of what your routine does: how it works, its input and output. Please describe any known bugs or limitations.

Since CCL is a general-purpose programming language and not a macro language for OSLO, your routines need not relate directly to OSLO or even to optics, but should be generally useful to optical scientists/engineers. Please note that by submitting your work, you are granting rights for Sinclair Optics to publish it without restriction. If your routine has "work-for-hire" copyright status, you must obtain a release of copyright from the owner. If you have questions about copyright or whether a particular routine would be useful to others, please contact Sinclair Optics.
