Source Modeling

In addition to several simple extended source patterns (see Fig.1), OSLO includes advanced sources (see Fig.2). Advanced sources include parameters, allowing more complex sources such as:

• LED specified by number of rays, ellipse/rectangle, semiwidth, semiheight, bond wire semidiameter, 1/e2 diversion angle, and divergence half angle
• Lambertian specified by number of rays, ellipse/rectangle, semiwidth, semiheight, divergence half angle
• User-defined

Sources are saved to the disk and can be easily reused in different systems and different positions (tilts/decenters). OSLO provides relative illumination analysis output.
