The Report Graphics routines are a set of ray trace and image evaluation routines based on spot diagrams, that have been assigned to toolbar icons for convenient execution.
Open the demotrip.len. Click toolbar icon SHIFT+F3. The report graphics ray trace analysis will appear in the current graphics window, as shown below.
Click on toolbar icon SHIFT+F7. The Spot diagram analysis report graphics will appear.
Click on toolbar icon SHIFT+F4. The Wavefront analysis report graphics will appear.
Click on toolbar icon SHIFT+F5. The through-frequency MTF report graphics will appear.
Click on toolbar icon SHIFT+F6. The Through focus MTF report graphics appears as follows.
The final report graphics are point spread functions. Click on toolbar icon SHIFT+F8.
The report graphics routines are combinations of evaluations that can be obtained using single commands in OSLO. The have been designed to make it easy to include OSLO output in reports. In the present instance, the above figures were prepared using File >> Save Graphics As, printing to a windows metafile (with placeable header), and inserting the files in Microsoft Word.
Although the report graphics in the above examples were executed using the toolbar icons, you can also use the Calculate >> Report Graphics menu commands. These give you the ability to scale the drawings.
