OSLO works similarly to other windows programs. If you are familiar with other windows software, you can skim over the material in this section. However, you should not skip it entirely, since it points out features that are unique to OSLO.
The discussion in this section relates specifically to the (Microsoft) Windows versions of OSLO. UNIX versions run under X-windows on a variety of window managers that have slightly different behavior. The differences between Windows and X-windows versions are not significant enough to warrant separate documentation.
